Whats up everyone.
As my first post I want to share some of the stuff me and my buddies shot on the dvx.
http://mediamilitia.tv/demos.htm

On the clips:
- for hunter motorsports, all the slo-mo stuff was shot on an aaton super 16, the non-slomo stuff was shot on DVX
- the EPK was shot on the DVX
- the elate wear was shot on the DVX
- tacon rosa was shot on super 16
- timelapse clip was a mix of 35mm and dvx, the dvx stuff looks better, cause the 35mm was compressed down to motion jpg for editing purposes, never got it back to hd, or sd for that matter
- atv television was shot on the dvx
- mr orange undercover music video was shot on the dvx, it was shot during a concert and was not and actual staged music video
- greater meaning of water was filmed on the sony hd

Thats it for now.
More to come.....

Just had a chance to check out a few of the clips. The timelapse clip has some nice shots. The heavy cloud shot near the end is great. The hunter clips looked like fun. Nice to compare the slo-mo with non (dvx). I bet the elate shoot was fun.

Some really nice work and blends of formats. Welcome! I am very interested in 'The Greater Flow' Doc (Greater Meaning).

Nice work. But where did you get all that music? I don't know anyone else who has Radiohead, Nina Simone, and NOFX in the same collection ... did you steal my music?

thanks everyone.
I'll sure be hanging out here a lot more.
got some very promising music video shoots coming up
shooting one today on a few dvx's which should be all right
and then an awesome one in june for a young honkytonk 1930's folk singer straight off a time warp which is going to be off the hook!!!
and no i did not steal pais' music
cheers

That sounds really interesting. The clips rocked.

That is some of the best time laps I have seen shot with dvx. Did you shoot it using the cameras intermittent recording of did you just shoot it straight and then speed it up in post?

the 35mm was shot with an arri 3 time lapse camera (I should've reconnected the HD clips before having put them on the website, they're amazing....)
the DVX timelapse was recorded real time then made into timelapse with iStopMotion, which is a nice program to have cause you can basically do any framerate/speed... you want
