here is my third short film....done for fun on my friend(who acted in it)'s birthday.
more info on the site.

And on babelgum's online film festival it (somehow!?) is #1 most popular short film the past few days. odd. well...guess that ending does it.

Shot on DVX100b, plain out of box/no adapters. and lit with only 2 home depot lights+ house lamps (plus lights outside for "lightning")

and if you go to 4shortfilms.com please do not comment on the other
films here, as I have other threads for them thanks!

Very nice. I enjoyed it all the way through. I thought it was a good dramatic piece because it had subtle touches of comedy, as all good drama should have. Excellent camera work, cinematography, and actors where great.

Keep up the good work.

Lol, cool! At first I was like ah man, they destroyed 2 lamps, broke another light and made a huge mess. Then I figured your $50 went to props (Probably from a yard sale) & the fact that it was a garage, it didn't matter. I thought this guys parents are gonna kill him. It was funny, and looked good. Another example of what you can achieve on no budget.

indeed, I got the lamps from a garage sale for 5 bucks for the two.
that thing he "wrestles" and tosses around was from the side of the road/we took it from someones garbage.
the other lights+bulb were 15 dollar home depot lights.
it was all done in one take obviously as we couldn't re-build the lights. ....I edited stuff in to "cover" when he messed up the lines or appeared to break character. Plus the wreckage looked neat, I thought.

thanks guys

edit -and the rest of the 50 budget went to a mini dv tape and paying 20 bucks to the house owner for use of their garage (it was my neighbours)
