Now I am planning for the festival, making contacts before I go (I might reveal what I did at a later date), printing DVD's and getting as much information as possible. We leave in less than 5 weeks.
Back from Cannes, and it was great. We met a lot of people there and now have a better idea of how to get around a festival, what to plan for, who to talk to, and how to find the parties. We spoke to several buyers and we will contact them this week.
After a hiatus, and some breathing room, I have decided to send MC out to some more festivals, and looking at it again, I am going to tweak the sound design. It's always interesting to come back to something and see what you missed before.
When I get a chance, I'm going to do a few little edits, and add to the soundscape a bit. We started a new short film. I'm wondering if I should post my experiences of it on here....
