I had a camera stolen from my luggage coming back from Fiji. I swore, never again would I check a camera. With the EX1 a Kata bag was a good solution. The F3 is bigger and needed more accessories.
My solution was a Think Tank "Airport Security" bag. Its the exact size for US airlines and some, but not all, international flights. (Why do some countries make their carry on bag size restrictions smaller? The planes are almost always Boeing or Airbus. American bags usually fit.)
It has lots of great design features (wheels and back pack straps). Lots of compartments and fully configurable. It has TSA locks and a cable so you can lock it to the furniture if you leave it in your hotel room.
Best of all, since camouflage can prevent the bag from becoming a target for thieves, it looks like a regular carry on bag. (I have a Canon bag I rarely use since it says CANON in big bold letters across it.)

I wanted a big enough bag to carry all my essentials at one time.
Right now, inside this bag, is the F3, matte box with french flag, rails, Zacuto base plate, mic, TV logic monitor, 3 brick batteries, charger, BNC cables, Ki Pro Mini, power cables, lenses (17-35mm, 50mm, 70-200), MTF adaptor, ear phones, media cards (CF and SxS), Follow focus, and a rain cover (not shown. It fits above the batteries).

I figure I'll put a 28-70mm lens in a belt pouch. If I need a tripod I'll put it in checked luggage or rent one. If I need better sound I'll hire a sound guy or throw a Sennheiser wireless set in there. There's still a little room, but I usually throw in a toothbrush, underwear and a shirt in case my checked luggage gets lost.
This bag is a little pricey, but its the biggest, sturdiest, most feature laden bag that I found. Looks like it fits my needs.
If you think of anything else I should fit in there please mention it.
PS: They do make an international bag that's smaller to fit every possible flight.
