Hi,
My camera is in need of repairs. The camera does not pick up any audio. I already posted the issue here a few months ago and I did all the troubleshooting and tried every suggestion so I am 100% certain it is mechanical. As stated everything works but the mic does not pick up any signal whatsoever.
So I am wondering, do you guys think I should take it to an authorized service center or should I look for repairs somewhere else? (considering quality of service vs. price).
Also, I bought this camera for like 2.5k back in the day, if I can fix the audio I'll be happy with 1k, but if I just post it for sale as it is how much do you think I could get for it? I am concentrating in audio engineering now so I'm no longer in need of a camcorder.
This is a 3 year old Panasonic DVX100b, I think it has about 300 hours.
