MY ANAMORPHIC LOVE (SLR Magic 50mm f/0.95 + Berthiot Tiny Cinemascope 2X lens)


This is the funny combination with the very tiny Berthiot 2X anamorphic lens attached on the SLR Magic 50mm f/0.95 lens, 80 grammes on 800 grammes !!! :)


I have found the same lens (very lucky !) in a small specialized Super 8 shop in Paris last week, I'm selling it on ebay : http://tinyurl.com/7o4e7td

I have attached the anamorphic lens wit ha small clamp, that is an adaptater for telescope for camera, 52mm thread and from 24mm to 38mm inside the clamp, you can find it here : http://tinyurl.com/84zpbq6


The result is for me very good for such a tiny and light lens ! I have to fixe more the lens straight, not to have obliques lines.

Apertures : from f/0.95 to f/12, most of the shot around f/4. Vignetting a little after f/8
The ninth last shot were made with the plastic Holga Lomo lens with the Anamorphic Berthiot

So with this type of lens, do you need to focus on both lenses to get sharp image? I'm not sure if I see any focus ring on the Berthiot at all..
The 8mm anamorphics were tempting as I'd like to use it for travel and not have to lug my heavy Lomo's!
And I rather do have an affinity towards Monsieur Chretien's products.

No Hypergonard lens are hyperfocale, so no need to focus on it !
It's so light and tiny, I just have to find the perfect lens to put on it, maybe a Nikon 35mm 1.4 or canon FD 2, or a 50mm... On the plastic lens Holga it's in focus very closed, I don't know why, maybe because it's a pancake lens, I have to think about this, but on this 25mm plastic lens it vignette a little. As you see I'm selling the berthiot, because I have it in double.
