This isnt the one I own, but its pretty much it.
I am missing the wedge quick release plate, but its simple enough to make a new one in this case. Also missing the small lead counter weights, again should be simple to replace, just need weight in there.

Any Ideas on what to do with it? Right now its sitting in my dining room and I'm using the arms as a coat rack and the turning wheel as an umbrella holder.
I put my T2i on it, and its so funny to see.

Haha, the shipping on it would be something.
I think I'm gona use it with my T2i, as I dont have a fluid head anymore and this head is smooth as silk on pans.
Also know somone with a red and it might be of use to them because of the weight it can support.
But 99% of the time, its just gona sit there, beign a coat rack unless I can find something constructive to do.

That Quickset gear is serious stuff. You can trow anything at it.
I abuse mine as a crane.

Disregard what Postmaster said, he is just triax-blocking. It has no value. Send it to me. LOL:evil:

It's just a coatrack, as you said. You don't want it taking up soooooo much space at your place. I will sacrifice and help out here.

Is that a custom wheel and base? Mine is a little to close together for it to work as a dolly, those hard wheels make it shake a bit when pushing foward.

Hmmm, anything that I have dealt with a heavy base like that is usually smooth as butter. Maybe some lube and adjustments? If it is close to what you showed as an example, that is designed for a linoleum type floor.

So... how'd you get that blurb under your name? :)

I even got a special one for Sunday, which I wear with a white shirt and a tie.
