No, that's probably legit. Just leafing through the feedback, the guy have sold other expensive electronics before. But that's actually a pretty high price for a used A1 (even in the box, it's consider "used."). They usually go for around $2700-2800 used around here if you can find one.

I don't like it. It's not incredible savings compared to a basic bhphotovideo.com price of $3300, and the seller can't afford to throw an actual photo up of the unit.

I wouldn't do it. And if you buy from a good retailer you can usually get a good bundle making it a good deal.

I got my XH-A1 off ebay for $3,000 exactly. Pretty much brand new, the guy only had 1 minute on the tape heads.
