My 5dMKII chosen as staff pick at Vimeo. Cool!

[CineGang]

I was just having fun but did do some work with my son and testing the manual controls as well as trying out this DIY glider I learned from ZazaCast here at dvxuser.

Was that the $29 Casio keyboard version of the song? Wow, that rocked! I liked the $29 synthesized sounds!

But seriously, really cool concept.

LOL!!!!! I just downloaded the midi and chose some GM sounds to it. ha ha ha. But thanks guys for the complements. Well, although this was just a 1 hour shoot + 1 hour edit + 200 hours of conversion time, I've been stuck in these forums endless hours learning what I can about the camera, the firmware, the limitations, audio, Hudson, DIY gliders, techniques, harsh comments, etc... Still learning and that's why I post. I love this stuff.

Great video! And great kids, too.

Just curious how you did the focus pulls?

Manually and awkwardly. Looking at the SDK to see if I can contribute any type of automation while tethered to a laptop or iPhone via host USB if possible. For now, just finished making one of these that I saw:

Looks a little "ghetto", but it's a great deal for $20.
