I've been reading this forum for the last 2 years in and out, I just want to share with you some footages from my homemade adapter based on the Snodart design and all the good informations found here.

Thanks for the positives feedbacks, Like I said its based on Snodart's design, :) http://snodart.com/hbe_snod35_v1_4.php

The GG is a condenser (Fresnel lens) from a Nikon F3 type D focusing screen (almost any type will do since you only need the condenser) I took apart the focusing screen (didn't like the result with it) and kept the condenser, then I ground it with 9 micron grit. The condenser helps improving brightness in the corners of the screen and I think it provides a more even illumination, resulting in less vignetting. Work well for me so far. I'm trying other solution for the GG as well.

The only expansive part is the 72mm HD achromat from Cinevate, the rest are parts from ebay... Asian 72mm spacer ring, step up, step down rings, vibrating coin motor... etc.

When I read that it was a homemade DOA I wasn't going to check it out. Then I read some of the responses and I when to see if they were exaggerating.

I have to tell you. This one of the sharpest images I have seen coming out of an adapter regardless of price.

Congratulations
