i have been using the hvx with avid with only partial success - if i copy a bunch of files into the media directory avid does pick them up - sometimes.
If i do it with avid closed and then open it - they are there - if i am inactive in avid they are there - but if i am doing stuff - not sure even what cause it - for example using the media tool when i am copying them some files dont get recognized.
This is not so bad in itself - but then i CANNOT get those files recognized - i have deleted - copied back in, restart avid , the computer everything - once they are not recognized they never are - unless i delete the media files directory and start from scratch.
This is not good since most work is incremental- I cannot keep rebulding the dir.
Is there a work around or a way to get avid to regenerate its database and see all files? what could be causing this?
