MXF file management nightmare... how do you sort this stuff?

So I am in the process of purging my drives of unneeded content and I am now stuck in this monstrous 283GB folder that is jam packed with imported MXF files from my HVX-200. This is from back when I was still experimenting with the camera and didn't start putting files in individual project folders. Now I've got about a dozen mini-projects in this 283GB tumor that I would like to seperate into various subfolders. However the Panasonic MXF file implementation makes this difficulut since I have to have the following file structure:

CONTENTS (root)
->AUDIO (sub)
->CLIP (sub)
->ICON (sub)
->VIDEO (sub)
->VOICE (sub)

in all I have about 447 files in the CLIP subdirectory but 1,322 files in the AUDIO subdirectory! (cursing Panasonic under my breath)

is there an easy way to have Edius 3 sort these files for me so I can put these mini-porjects on different drives or burn to DVD or something? right now all I can think of is to create my own directories each with the required subdirectories and painstakingly match the file names I see in my timeline to what I see in Windows Explorer.

thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Use P2 Viewer. Create a virtual P2 card for the destination(s), browse the mega-directory, and copy the clips you want between the cards.
