MXF error when copying? Help!!!

Trying to copy a P2 offload, I get the following message:

"The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "0002OL.MXF" could not be read or written. (Error code -36)."

I've also tried importing the footage into FCP, which comes up with an error too.

Is there a fix? Is the footage lost? Help!

I had something similar happen. I plugged my camera in while Avid was on (I'm a Avid guy) and Avid immediatly scanned it. Unfortunatly, it gave me some message saying, "x_MXF in AUDIO folder is not a MXF file." I then tried copying the files to my disk but it wouldn't let me. The stuff played fine on my camera though. I turned the camera on and off with no luck. Finally, I closed down Avid, then imported the stuff, and it worked fine.

Unfortunately, the footage has already been copied off the card and to the folder on a hard drive (just not the one I will deliver to the client). So I'm at a loss on where to go from here?

Here's the exact scenario:

Captured footage at 720/pn and offloaded card via P2Genie to local hard drive. Tried to copy folder P2Genie created to external hard drive and received the above mentioned error. All other offloads (8 others) copied just fine, although I've not yet imported them to make sure. The data seems to be there.

Anybody have this experience or know how to troubleshoot/repair the .MXF file so it can a) be copied b) be imported into FCP?
