FYI: I noticed today that DV.com has streaming video of some digital video conference. There are 3 videos.... I just finished watching the HOUR LONG Adam Wilt's video with accompanying slide show. He went over all the features and controls of the FX1, DVX100a, and other "handycams"... VERY INFORMATIVE. He even demonstrates how to calibrating monitors with color bars from the camera.

Register and you can watch it for free! Damn, I love the Internet!

Shawn...U R welcome. I figured someone else could benefit.

Taubkin, I saw the Walter Murch video... Could listen to him for HOURS. Big fan, now! Never saw Cold Mountain... but now I'll buy it the first chance I see it.

Thanks for the info. The presentation was very good.

Does anyone know if it's possible to download this video for future reference? (They're done in Flash). Or any other way to get this video on your desk top? Just wondering.

There's software avaiable to copy images/movies displayed on your desktop. On the Mac there's Snapz which is a commercial product.

Scottdvx100,

Thanks very much for that excellent recommendation!

Snapz will be my next purchase!
