Musicvideo in New York, O7Q 2k raw

Absolutely beautiful, I admire visuals a lot (although I'm not liking content, lyrics of the song and drugs preaching). What sort of data size have you ended up with after all the shootings?

Thank you :)
its hard to say, i shot with 2x256gb SSD`s and ended up with 4 cards, but not all of them were completely full. But on those kind of projects 2 cards are not enough, we always had to make the backups on the fly,
with the macbook on the lap, and i had an assistant for just half of the day...

Looking good...nice grading...which program did you use for color grading? and what kind of hand held rig did you use?

So about 1TB, right? Are 2 cards inserted on the same time needed for 2K RAW, or is that for 4K only?
I like your slightly less saturated look, for me it looks very, very filmic.

You only need two cards inserted for high frame rate recording, such as 240fps / 2K. I'm not sure if 120fps / 4K needs two cards or just one.

In 4K RAW, 50p & 60p require two SSDs (that includes the 4K RAW burst recordings of 100p & 120p, which output to the Odyssey at 50p & 60p). In 2K RAW, 200p & 240p require two SSDs.

Thx! we used davinci with a custom LUT, the fine tuning was done over the raw converter settings inside davinci, its soo nice and easy grading the dng`s!
i used some parts of thecinecity.com and some custom made parts. Whats most important for me is a lot of counterweight so the rig perfectly balanced.

+1 I second that!

I also wonder how you did manage with permissions of crowd people e.g. police officers in opening scene? I have no experience with American legal situation but I might guess it could be an issue if it was shot by chance.

Wow, again amazed about what images the 700 is able to put out in the right hands. And a great reel too, Julian! Any more insight on the production besides recording format would be great (crew size, lighting...) ;)

jullian-

those oly om2 primes did you right!

for me, there is still something appealing about legacy glass :-)
