OK, well... I'm going to have a stab at this production blog thing. Mind you, I'm not expecting anyone to read this- I'm young, VERY amateur (at the moment) and still getting to grips with filming concepts etc.
I'm an indie filmmaker with LITTLE experience (short films made using all sorts of weird old programs- will buy a mac and FCP soon).
So, the past few months, I have been writing a script for a short feature (maybe a bit over 45 minutes), which is a musical. Late last night (here in Australia it was.... early morning today in USA). I finished writing the screenplay! I'm now tackling the lyrics, which is a task that I am dreading a little. Well, it's not that I hate lyric-writing, it's just... to put it simply... I SUCK at rhyming and rhythm!!!
I have around ten people lined up for parts in the movie, but they have barely acted at all (free!). Most of them are friends, who I'll have to turn down most probably.
Well, that's all for now- I shall go and start some of those lyrics.
