hey guys, I was wondering how you all get jobs for music videos. I have worked on them through friends, and i've directed my own for a contest, but i'm curious if the band or label contacts you, if you send demo reels to labels, if you cantact bands and ask if they want one.. I don't know how it works. I would like to get more into music videos so i'm wondering how you all got started and how you get the jobs. thanks

its more of a process of building your portfolio.

at first take EVERY job you can to build this up and eventually people will take notice and start to ask for you by name of get recommended by one of your past clients.
