This was shot during a lab at school.. we had to come with the idea on the spot and shoot it all within the 5 hour lab...

lemme know what ya think.. it was just an exercise.. but I cut together all the footage we took... I was the camera op for the shoot.

loki, given the 5 hour time frame, this was pretty good.

my only observation (aside from the lipsyncing) was the framing in the wide shot. you left a ton of head room that bugged a little.

aside from that, there were some pretty fun angles and camera moves through the bodies.

not bad.

nice lighting in a dark scene too.

I liked the lighting a lot and the camera movements, but content wise, I wish you could have put in some more unique shots. Otherwise for a 5 hour project, nice job!

Did you bring in your DVX or are you shooting on the XL1 or PD's?
I'm going to be bringing in my DVX from now on to Lab. BTW, you're lucky you got Mark for lab, I have Grasshopper (Derek, the white rastafarian), and while he's a really cool guy, he's also really serious about our work.

i brought my DVX to lab.. I really don't like using the PD150's at all..

the focal length is so-so compared to the nice wide angle of the DVX.. we used the XL1s in lab now all the time.

Hey, Loki...are you day or night classes? You seem like your a night class, as I know his day lab class (Friday I'm guessing...? 2-7?).
