hello,

I've been working on a music video to a friends song for the past month. I thought I'd share it with you all!

It is my first finished project filmed with a DVX100A.

The song is called "amber lady" and can be found in the "video" section.

this is the bestest camera ever!

peace everyone

Hej!

Hur mor du!

I really liked campfire tales and Palace :-)

Amber lady didn't keep my attention ... too much corporate for me. But the shots were well done, and I really ike the cool desaturated mint green look.

Tack sa mycket ;)

yeah, it's a little corporate, but did you see the whole thing? they eventually break out of their "molds". ;)

I was a little concerned about the green stuff, you know, it is quite overused, but i think i found a nuance of green that I hadn't seen that much before.

Campfire tales was a blast to do, I'm glad you liked it!

I don't mean this in a nasty way at all, because I am not a pro, but the lighting seems to be very flat.

Maybe a bit of CC could bring a nice feel to it?

Thanks,
Derrick

I know,

I was aiming for a washed out look, i experimented alot with CC and the main problem is to make the scenes fit seamlessly.

The office scene is very dark and has lots of shadows which calls for a more sinister look, the meeting scene has almost no shadows at all which makes it difficult to match them.

When i did what was "best" for each scene, it seemed like they were filmed on totally different locations and on different times of the day (which they were though ;))

So after lots of agonizing decision making I decided to go for the more neutral, scandinavian, washed out look.

But I agree, some scenes definately would look better with deeper blacks.
