Great Concept

Great Concept

I love the post production work. The only problem I have with it is that the video parts aren't shot that well. It seems like the production value of the video wasn't as good as the post production value. Some of the video was too dark and most of the time there was nothing interesting to watch. Maybe the rapper could have been doing something more than just rapping to the camera. I really dig the concept though.

Hey, yeah we didn't really have a plan for the video to begin with, that's the main thing i learnt from this is to plan everything before i start. I realised after i filmed it that I had to do something to make it different from a typical rap video which is what i had filmed. But i had a job interview the other week and the guy told me if i'm doing it free I should just either do what i want or not do the video. hopefully I will plan future videos out better. I'm shooting a short promo for a hair straightener company in a week or so and will have my first experience of using a dolly, and setting up lighting etc.. so I hopefully will learn a bit more about the production stages which should help me in planning future videos, quite exited. cheers for the critique.
