I should be shooting a music video soon on hvx, and for some of the band performace, i'd like to have some of it in 60p but the singing and playing all to still be synced up. I know to do that you speed up the song, but does anyone know the exact percent i should speed up the song if i'm going to shoot it in 60p? so it can sync up?

I'm in Australia using PAL video so things are a little different here. I shoot 50i or 25P as standard. I would shoot slo-mo at 50p making it half speed at normal 25p playback so I would need to speed the music up 2x or 50% of it's original time length as 25p to 50p is double increase, hope this makes sense. It's all simple if you shoot 60p and go back to 30p, if it's 24p from 60p it's 2.5x

I was on a music video shoot, shot on film, about 7 years ago (third eye blind) that did double speed audio playback for later use as slow mo footage. I didnt know they did that and it was funny seeing the singer (Steven) try to sing his songs at double speed. I dont know what the camera settings were though.
