Music Video with my girlfriend! Cute!

A while ago when I uploaded a little clip from my girlfriends bathroom someone commented that I should upload a film of my girlfriend instead, if she was cute.

She is cute and i've got proof! And therefore we did a little music video today (a total of 4 hours) of a song called "Oh boy" originally performed by Miss Li.
Everything is shot in her apartment.

This video is also an introduction assingment in my "music video production class" that I am taking.

If someone wonders I am majoring in TV production at a university in Sweden and thats why I take that kind of lessons :)

don't tell me you're one of rune's students? i've shot several of his videos including the torgny melin's one on my homepage, which i also co-directed...

Nice video. I thought that maybe more coverage could have been done, but your actor was perfect.

Overall nicely done though.

Which university in Sweden? I'm somewhat familiar with Sweden's university system. I thought about doing grad school there, but now I'm waiting to hear back from a grad school state side.

The university is called Luleås tenkniska unversitet, but our school has it's own department within the university called Piteås institution for music and media. :)

very cool! Neat curve adjustment. Looks like you crushed blacks, crushed whites and then brought the mids back to the center? Kinda like the upper left quarter of a circle.

damn cute. She looks like she could be a star.

If only the D90 wasn't so soft, i'd pick one up in a heart beat.
 
What kind of lighting did you use? I have the same lens and I can't get over how good everything looks through it. I think the japanese have somehow figured out a way to coat their lens elements with fairy dust or something... I can't make it take a pad picture. :p

The funny thing is that I didn't use any other light than the sun :)

It was very sunny and it shined in through her white curtains so they worked like giant soft boxes over the whole apartment.

Pretty cool how little you need to do when you are at the right place at the right time.
 
I liked this,,,,if that is here singing she is good. I would have left out the part at the end when she is just sitting there.

And your not loosing 6 stops with an adapter and glass on glass on glass. Nicely done.
