Hey all,

I have been an active member since last year and i love the site, however i never put any of my vids up becasue i never had any time...

Below is the link to the first thing i ever shot on the DVX (its about a year old)
The DVX00b literally just came in the mail the day before i shot this, so this whole video was really to experiment with the DVX.

This was a class project also...

so check it out and i would appreciate any comments!

I loved the music - awesome job!

For me, the camera work was checkered. I enjoyed most of it and the shot variety was great, however the motivated camera zoom was a bit over the top (ditto near the end on the rapid in/out focus transitions) - consider strobing as another option. The lighting was flat in some areas and the depth of field could also be improved but it's certainly acceptable. BTW, the strobe shots helped add interest along with your varied camera shot types - loved it. I also liked the tweaking on the luminance.

In summary, great job on the music/audio, definitely the most important area and you nailed it. And 90% of the camera shots were spot-on.

yeah i realize what you are saying about the motivated zoom... but you know it was just one of those things, i knew the dvx could do it and since it was my first time using it i went a little over board! we actually had a lot of other fast shutter strobing shots but they were unusable due to certain lighting conditions...

Wow, that was awesome! You must have had an adapter right? What software did you use to edit?
