Havent shot a pop promo tapeless before, but as I guess timecode recording constraints differ a lot from linear tape shooting I wonder if its possible to have the playback device feed timecode into the camera's ext LTC input? (Yeah 'longtitudunal' timecode!)
This would mean far quicker syncing up in the suite and an ease of checking the shot at specific timecodes on all takes - even using multicamera edit mode (although I think Avid maxes out at 16 cams/takes).
Anyone done this? If so what did you use to playback?
