Earlier this year I got asked to shoot a music video in NYC for a very interesting band, It was there first music video in the US and my first music video on the AF100.
The director wanted a bit of the glamor and mystery of New York, but also the texture the reality of the city.
I couldn't think of a better way then using Shift Tilt style to portray that look.
Using the AF100's unique senor size traditional full frame lenses can be used tilt and shifted and still cover the sensor with out vignetting using the Lensbaby Tilt Transformer.
The other big advantage was the Af100 small size and slow motion 1080 at 60fps. The Director had a friend with a cessna airplane but we had no budget for any camera mounts. So the slow motion at 1080 gave extra room for stabilization, and the small camera fit in the small plane.
The video was a lot of fun with a lot of locations to cover, one day we had 3 major location moves in NYC!
