Inklined Studios in conjunction with Performance Video Systems of Washington Dc metro area teamed up to produce this music video for Florida's Terra Terra Terra. Shot on the RED camera with Nikon Lenses

Directed by Kory Smith/CJ Davis
Edited by Kory Smith

The footage of the little kids was shot in 1080 on a hvx for the video's back wall and in the edit.

Well I thought it was incredible. Truly. Perfectly executed concept. Simple, but effective. Fantastic post-production work. I would love to know any more details regarding the post work done (specifically the digital manipulation). Also, how was your experience with the RED camera? Both on set and in the editing room? I've heard it's not the most friendly of things when it comes to editing the actual footage.

What was your whole workflow?

Really great, great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah i have been a HVX man for the past few years and finally got to venture into RED territory. Its work flow is a bit more complicated then log and transfer and honestly had the red tech guy walk me through it. Maybe if i owned one I might remember it better or worked with RED on a regular basis, which i hope to do soon!!!

The work flow started with
working with the proxie files and setting up the initial edit.
we then had to connect the proxies with their 2k online files
the edit was then sent to color for color correction
THEN the color corrected time line was sent to adobe premiere cs4 and saved as a project
that project was then sent into After effects so i would have a complete cut up composition to work with instead of having to cut it up again from FCP or exporting clips because i knew i was going to do ALOT of ae and not really sure where or how much at the time.

This was achieved after receiving edit lock and color lock because going backwards to fix something would have been a nightmare!!!!

after that I spent a week in after effects trying to mess up the transmission the best I could without overdoing it as i tend to cut fast as it is.

Thank you for the kind words they are greatly appreciated!!!

We shot two videos that weekend involving LED walls here is the other one.

Vega Under Fire is the band but its shot on all RED so did not want to make a thread for a all red video.
