Music video shot with stock HMC150, edited with Vegas

This a music video some friends and I made. I shot it with the bare bones HMC150 with not much light, edited with Vegas Pro 9. We went for playful, i think it is! Not perfect by a long shot but the song is great. The song was good for a more unique approach to a music video because of it's 3 distinct parts - to have more straightforward band interaction in the first part, then faster montage for the loud part, and dreamy at the end. This was my first YouTube post and I used the Vegas 16:9 preset. Would you recommend up-ing the bit rates or anything like that with HMC150 footage (I transcode to NeoScene too, BTW, if that makes any difference.) thanks for watching

Really nice job on this Jeff. Demonstrates that creativity will take you way farther than costly props and sets. Loved the set, the props, the idea of the musicians wearing PJs, the bears playing the instruments, the cat in the one shot, the whole thing. I'm not a fan of their music, never heard them before, but I could be after seeing this! The HMC150 did a fine job on this, I thought.

My only thought on it was that the ending of the second part (?) and the transition into the third seemed like it could be shortened. I probably would have suggested to the band just skipping from 3:43 to 4:41 and letting it play out to the end from there.

Nice editing job with VV. Not sure what to tell you on the technical q's on VV though.
