Greetings folks.

I shot this with my DVX100A over the past two weeks for the band Incubus' music video contest. Check it out on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QS4pM6fItfE&NR

Compression is not the best, but I can post up a download link if people want it in high quality.

Thanks for watching!

Oh definitely, that'd be great. I had a lot of trouble trying to get the compression to look good and could never quite figure it out. What settings do you use?

OK,

You have to upload it as an .flv as that is youtubes native format. I use sorenson squeeze, select .flv compression, choose 1mbps setting, put in youtube 320 x 240 rez (i think that's the recommended) and wa-la. I had a lot of ppl tell me that my vids were extremely clear so i thought others could benefit from the settings. Let me know how u go

Yeah, I deleted that post becuase I think I uploaded a .flv with the On2 VP6 codec instead of just the normal Sorenson Spark Pro codec. I'm trying it again right now.

I'm on premiere pro...can I do this on premier? If so how?

By the way...the vid looked real good. Only negative i would say however is that you had some greatly composed/lit shots in there however not all the shots were up to par. question..can you give me details as to how you achieved the look of the bank in black in white?

i upload to u tube as .wmv or quicktime works fine.. but i do use a discreete cleaner to make web ready files...

youtube settings exportng from Final Cut Pro

youtube settings exportng from Final Cut Pro

Can you use these settings when exporting directly from Final Cut Pro? (.flv, etc.) I can't seem to find them...although I did adjust the image size and tried Sorenson and Sorenson 3...

...everything I try has been bad quality once I upload...and it's driving me nuts!!!!

Can you tell me the exact settings that will produce the best image when exporting from Final Cut Pro??

Thanks for any help you can offer!
