hey everyone,

I have been lurking this forum for a long time. just wanted to show a project that I did with the d90. everyone here, whether they know it or not has been a huge help to me in making the d90 usable in different situations. thanks to everyones research and time spent making this camera a good tool.

shot with 50 1.4 and 24 2. nikon manual primes. cinesaddle on the car shots.

FRESH !

towards the end it seems you start running low on shots , nontheless it looks pretty nice.
I like the song too. The guy has got good presence in front of the camera.

thanks bro-

yeah, the last 1/4 of the song was just a lot of repeat of the chorus i didnt plan well enough for it, should of had some idea when when i was shooting what was going there.

I have seen the stuff you have done with 16 pads name very fresh as well. I am also a hip hop producer. I kind of gathered from the name 16 pads you might be too. Am I right?

MUTHAF*&$*&^ DOPE A$$ song!!!!
That's my new fav cut!
The feel of the video is damn near perfect for it! I used to have a '78 Trans AM when I was a kid, electric blue with t-tops... *SIGH*
I'm going to go and favorite it on my myspace right now!

EDIT: Dude is there anyway for u to up this in HD, that would totaly make me geek out LOL

Yeah... that song is fantastic.

Great video for the most part. From what I saw, it's like you *almost* mastered the "twisty-jumpcut" transition, but it wasn't quite there, if that makes any sense. Love the overall look, and some good tracking shots throughout...

Good stuff all around, but like mentioned above, it kind of fell apart near the end, and some of the cuts and transitions weren't quite there. Nothing a little tweaking couldn't fix. I say take it back to the editing room and spend a little more time on it. The song definitely deserves it, and as good as the video is right now, I think with a LITTLE more effort, it could be absolutely fantastic.

I think the video is almost there but the song, even though nice, lacks originality in the vocals. The rap is a little too "Eminem" for me and the chorus sounds too much like "What if God was one of us" from Joan Osborne.

Sing with me:

If God had a name what would it be?
And would you call it to his face?
:)

It still nice though. Most people won't make the connection...

I concur with the comments. Love the song and it's a great video.
I did notice some interlacing type artifacts, but some seemed intentional, others, like at 3:10, didn't.

Did you do any stair-step removal?

thanks bro-

Yes Sir.
Beats and videos, that is pretty all we do these days.
Thanks man.

Very cool stuff...is there more ?

I used a cinesaddle for most of the car stuff on the hood through the window. I used a long iron pole hanging out the side window with a 1/4 inch bolt on the end to get the most of the other shots in the car.

and to vinyl stax, Yeah I have done more. The most recent thing I shot was completely on super 8. follow the link below.

this is my crew. I produced this song/beat as well.

thanks to everyone who has watched and critiqued.

Cool Video, perfect feel...

It's crazy seeing Johnny Cola on here. I've been a member for a few years and never noticed him. He's the reason I started shooting music videos with my DVX. Just a reminder of the wide group of talent present on DVXuser
