I like it, i just wonder if a longer lens would not have been better on the close ups on the singer, and band members?

I like this. The colors are great. I like the contrast between the darker scenes and the brightness of the scenes with the singer. Red gets a great image. You did great with the colors?

Completely agree. Made it feel comical, and unflattering to them. Pull out and go tighter.

At 1:35 there's a weird color grading done. Personally I don't like it. It just looks desaturated and tinted green.

I wasn't listening to the lyrics too much, but from what I did hear -- what did the story have to do with the music? It doesn't feel like it fits. It's following a girl wallow and sulk as she remembers times with her boyfriend. Meanwhile it's cutting with a colorful band with lights in the back. To be honest, it doesn't work. Look at some music videos. A lot of times the band plays in a place that compliments, resembles, or even is the same local and feel as the side story.

As for the story- well it's kind of basic. Not to be mean, but it's like one of the many student films I've seen. Typical girl being depressed, remember the bad and the good (the good is always something where the two of them laugh and tickle each other). It just feels a bit bland.

Then the performance. Well it feels also kind of bland. They remind me of those parents that think they're cool but aren't. It's not so much the age, but the clothes (like the sweaters) and feel of the piece... maybe even how they perform. The lights and color are a nice touch though. Some nice shots (except for the close ups with wide lenses). But then a group of people walk into the scene... why? Who are they? What are they doing? They don't even add to the scene and they're hardly seen. Plus when they are seen they just look uninteresting, not getting into the music, they even seem a bit awkward.

At 3:45 you break the axis, feels a bit weird. I'm guessing she's still standing at the door, but it felt weird. But I'm picky about the axis while others aren't, so maybe it doesn't matter.

Good job man, some great shots, well done. But you need to keep pushing it. Make sure the story and the performance is connected, and has something interesting going on. Try to use tighter lenses on those close-ups.

Thanks for the comments! I agree, a tighter lens would be better.
John Starr: Thanks for the feedback, i will certainly improve when making a new music video, i agree that the side storry is lame, the performance of the band is just how their style is. The lyrics is actually about a girl who is alone, but i agree that the tho settings colide a bit, thanks again, got me thinking on what to do better next time :)

Thanks for all the coments so far!

Hm. I liked the coloring of the vid. Like the band was outside of the story. And the dude does come back in the end, so it's like not all is doom and gloom.
