Thanks man. Yeah, looking back now I hate that shot of him on the bed with her. The worst shot of the video, for sure.

Yeah, this was shot in Palmdale, about 1 1/2-2 hours outside of LA. Way the hell out there. It's at 240th St East between Palmdale Blvd. and Ave J. County Permit. Go to this site and you can see this and other locations out there: http://www.avfilm.com/ Search for "road" or for location #496. I didn't have permits or anything.

Thanks man. Weird. I posted a reply to this but it didn't go up. Hmm. Anyhoo, in protools I used "Time compression/expansion" and made the ratio 0.600:1. (time compression didn't change the pitch at all, just crunched everything together). Then I bounced it to CD to be played back on a CD player and he sang along with the fast version. I'm not sure how this would do on longer takes, but one short clips, it worked fine.

Nah, my friend just happened to know about that one. But if you google "Los angeles film locations" some stuff will pop up.
