Shot this music video for the Postelles on an Aaton XTR Prod one snowy weekend in February... well in one late night (9 PM - 5 AM) and one very long day. (10 AM - 5 AM) We had a first AC on the late night, but for the most part it was myself (director) and the DP doing the majority of the crew work. We also had two non-film guys who spearheaded set dec., flickered lights, played on set sound, and held projectors for us. But it got pretty hectic for the two-man film crew (DP/dir.), and at times, desperate. For a handful of dolly shots, we had to close off the eye piece, have the DP pull focus, and have me pushing dolly.
Despite grueling working conditions, we had a lot of fun putting this together. Would love to hear what you guys think and to answer any questions you might have!?
Enjoy it:
