Hola!

The lights we used was these ones(with white light): http://www.ikea.com/no/no/catalog/products/40115565

We tested lighting up my friend in a half-shot with one pack of those(4 dioder) in a pitch black room, and it was enough to light up his face. I was actually surprised over how much light one pack of four put out with only drawing 5 watts. Perfect for mobile lighting in tight corners when powering it with a car battery. It's like they were created for interior car scenes :)

I usually use shutter 1/50th (and 1/120th for slomo), the only reason we shot the "artists shots" with higher shutter was so it would make for sharper stabilizing in post.

Everyone should own at least two packs of those lights, they are cheap and practical, apart from all of the cables! :)

Thanks man:)

Yeah I use 1/50 as well.. but in the movie I'm making now I've used 1/120 and I was actually digging the look of it..
But 1/50 is awesome.. very sweet motion blur..

I might take you up on that advice, will seriously consider buying them!

Thanks for sharing this Smettli. I'm going to Ikea tomorrow to try these little killer lights. There's another version, too, but less wattage:

Do the render the colors well? It's hard to tell by looking at your footage, as it's all brownish (great footage by the way - I'm impressed. Too bad I have to wait another 2-3 weeks for my Blade... brrr)

I had a look at the ones you linked to, but they didn't put out much light.
The white dioder is pretty close to 5600k in temperature.
