Music Video "Self Medicated"

Wow - seriously fast edits there. I like it but not my personal taste in music. You should post a warning for possible epileptic seizure triggers...:laugh:
 
Wow, I like it. She sounds pretty good too. I agree w/ Sirius though, very soon many epileptic sufferers will be foaming at the mouth.
 
Song kicks ass. Chick is hot in a gothy rock chick kind of way.

This is indeed a busy video; the imagery is like "Owww. My brain!" I'd like to see it toned down a bit as some of it is just racer x style.

I thought this was well done and look forward to a versoin that has some conceptual imagery.

The dolly shots were as smooth as silk; nice comps and super tight editing.

Technically? Check your levels and reapply a final letter-box mask as the mask is being affected by some of the fx (Look at the light/darl flux on the mask). My .02 is to have the letterbox be as back as your black in the video; crushed into the IRE.

Damn. I really really really want to be in a band again.

Anyway...is it just me, or did the sync slip a little in the part right after the middle break? Just after the drummer does the quiet choochoo on the snare, her mouth doesn't seem to be in sync with the singing. (The drummer's hits, too, don't quite match the audio)

We are def on the same page = For the conceptual, I have narrowed it down to 2 hot gothy girls. Not too hot, but sexy/dirty hot. If that makes sense.

Th letterbox mask ... yeah, I cheated and boosted the gamma when exporting to a QT file, so it boosted everything - including the black bars. The final version will have a clean box.

The dolly shots were a lot of fun to do (more of a pride thing I think!!!), glad they look smooth.

Really? There's quite a bit of post work done. I hope people don't look that yellow/pale in real life!!!

I like the edits fast and furious like they are here. This is some excellent work. I can't wait to see the next cut of this thing!
 
I think it looks really good and I can see that when you added the extra gamma in your export how that would effect not just your letterbox but the whole image. your not getting the black black you should hell of a thing though.
