Music Video(rough cut)

This was a project for school, I shot all my exteriors(44 shots) in one day.

Things were a little rushed, and my actors were getting cold and cranky but I think I pulled it off relatively well for the rushed nature of my shoot.

I ended up doing 1 take for a good portion of the shots.

Anywho, I put a lot of work into the costumes, the shots.. storyboards etc..

this is the rough cut:

There are issues with the lighting in many shots due to the overcast/sunny conditions that alternated all day..

feedback is welcome... lemme know what you think..

Yeah, it was a good time, and came across really well. The only suggestion I'd make is to make more cuts and speed up the edit. You do some nice stuff at the beginning and at the end, where the edits match the song, but linger on things a bit too long throughout the entire middle. There's some obvious low-budget at work here, of course, but you can get away with that more and make it look like an intentional decision to work that way (in some neo-ironic way), if you cut it like a regular music video. Look to any of those big acts like the Beastie Boys, who have budgets to throw at these things, but have opted, many times, to work cheap and edit quick. I'd love to see something like that with this.
