Music video on Much Music- Letus, wind machines, destructon, ect.

Great style, you succeeded in adapting the look of your photography to the video!
I´d really like to see a higher res version some time and maybe you give a little more background info on your workflow...?

I export .psd still image sequences from the video then do my photoshop stuff on one from, recording an action, then automate it to every frame.
 
Nice work, love the colors! Isn't the letus super ghetto!? I have one too, I use it all the time.

Anyway the whole video had a cool texture, even with the interlaced deal. I'd love to see a high res version.

The letus is indeed super ghetto, especially when I couldn't find an adapter ring in time for the rented HVX (I have it fitted for my DVX) and I had to duct tape it on the front with some cardboard, properly aligning the elements for sharpness...

Oh man! Wow, ha ha, you then take the ghetto prize! Nice job though, it looks clean.

Yeah I ordered the step down ring from ebay at the same time so I didn't have to resort to duct tape,.. this time.

I just put my crappy Letus footage up in this thread. If you want to see how bad I mad it look, ha ha, I screwed up using the adapter badly.

one piece of advice... it really won't help you scoring your next gig telling people that you can make a video for $600. i know you think "if they see what i can do with $600, just think what i could do with $6000!" but from my experience it doesn't work that way. There is really no reason why this video shouldn't cost $6000 or even $12000.

I don't market videos on DVX user, but I do on my website. And you won't find anything like that there. From my own experience in commercial photography, I agree- it don't work that way either :thumbsup:
