thanks for all the compliments. Im only involved in still photography as a hobby. And as for the lighting- toilet bob you are right. There are only three lights in that kit and you are limited as to what you can do with three lights. But of course it also depends on the project and location you are working. I used the 650 only once on this music video because we were in small spaces. The 300 and 100 worked fine for what I was trying to achieve.

I just sold my vx2000 and I´m saving up for my very own dvx100, it´s like the day before christmas every day :P

Good stuff. I also like the contrasty moodiness of it as well.

The shakey camera did feel a bit disconnecting, too...

Also, I see the drummer in one shot (15 frames, maybe?) towards the end. I never really thought Fidel had a band with him until this shot, and then there's no reference to a band after it. So... maybe show more of the band (the drummer's shot looked good - I'm sure you've got more?), or just possibly leave it out making no reference to the other players. The shot had no surrounding context, that's all.

But really, loved the lighting and the dolly work.

I'm familiar with Manuok's work (I'm in SD and we have common friends). I am very impressed with the video. I think the hat is a necessity (that's his image) and the darkish look/subtle lighting make the piece, IMHO. Excellent work...

This was a first for me, a video with a song I actually liked! I thought everything looked amazing. And the camera shake during the chorus was brilliant! It went right along with the fuzz bass.
I had to watch it a second time because I thought the video was out of sync when he was singing. Then I realized it was just camouflage from the caterpillar on his upper lip!

I love everything about this video. I wish that I could light a scene like you man. Do you light it or did you have others doing that. Great content and flow. I am buying the cd because of this video! Not kiddin!

really liked it. i actually liked the red hat. it does stand out but it creates an interesting contrast and is almost like a point of focus. kinda like the red doorknob in sixth sense.
