Hey everyone, I wanted to post my first music video with the HVX200.
Just a little background info:
- We shot the video over the weekend using the HVX200, rented from ATS. No lenses or filters.
- I bought the HVX200 bootcamp (must have!) the week before and I must have watched it 50 times!
- We used natural lighting for the main shots with a bounce board on close ups. And I also made a light stand with two 32 watt shop lights (to knock out some of the shadows), made from materials from Home Depot and Walmart.
- Budget was next to nothing, like around 500 bucks
- 24pn/720 and Video was edited using Final Cut and Color. (Multi-Cam editing is the best!!!)
Our next video will have a bigger budget and alot more equipment, such as lighting and lenses. Once you learn the basic functions of the camera and get hands on experience, I think my production value will increase.
