This was my very first music video were I was actually paid something. I did it about a year ago and it shows some beginner mistakes, but people have told me it is funny. Equipment used included three lights, a Steadicam (for one shot) and the venerable Panasonic HVX200 camera. Many things have been learned since this first effort. But please feel free to point out where I screwed up or state your general impressions... :cheesy:

Hey. I kind of liked it. Simple, predictable but the tune was catchy which carried things.

Fix a couple of headroom issues and maybe a few close ups could of helped.

the one bad thing that really stood out to me was the fact that the change from color to black and white didn't make any sense. At first he is in color with his thoughts in black/white, and then all of a sudden he is in Black and white.

Also, rather than having a close up of his face for multiple shots, I would either change the camera angle or get a new picture altogether...

But altogether it was a fun video. Didn't catch much of what they were saying, but I got the gist of it. Some good clear shots, and the music was bouncy.

Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate the feedback.

I learned a lot on this project, including the headroom issues and the fact that I didn't have enough coverage.

Umm, yes... the black n white thing was the solution that we came up with to deal with the fact that the guy always had the same clothes on... including in the 'flash-back' sequence. What can I say... first effort ever. My next one improved a lot I think according to some of the comment:
