Not bad nicely edited and the colors were nice considering most was shot at night or in limited light. Good job.

The only thing I might add is you probably should have made some attempt to hide the fact that his mic was not plugged into anything. :) Otherwise not bad at all.

Yeah... the mic thing is something Im still working on...

In Final Cut I can blur it out or make a mask but as the frames go by.... a royal pain and I havent yet got it right.

The video looks good in regards to the color, the editing, I thought lighting was superb....

the cocaine scene, well, for those who like it...
but a rape (at least that's how i understood it...) in the same glorifying context, man, that is totally NOT cool! :o >:(
As for the technical stuff: If your trying to achive some 80s retro videolook,i would add a bit more postwork to the footage and "damage" it, if your aim is the opposite of that, it nevertheless could use some polishing...
So far i got the impression that the video is in some prefinal stage...

It's cool, it goes the same way as the music, and also makes a good portrait of the club in question. Well, I don't think I'm up to another club-electro-strange sexual behaviors-trashie-drug problem trend, but it's definately not bad...

I think the sex scenes could be explored with some more ECU's, you know, get the actors expressions and add a little of double meaning before things get going. It would be more appealing for those who like it, and more shocking for those who can't stand it... I think the only ECU's you used was from the performer... is that intentional? Are they trying to make up for the characters expressions? I don't think it's working so well...

And yeah, man rape? I see the video as some sort of celebration of a culture, but taking a sexist position makes this culture less legitimate, you know? I get it's just for laughs, and this is supposed to be a reckless video... So be it... But honestly, I'm also a little against that.

Overall Nicely done...

I would agree on the last comment. Also I dont think you explored your editing possibilites given the subject matter, the dits seemed very standard and plain.

HA! That was crazy man! The wierdness of it kept it interesting. So was the guy with the mohawk a prostitute or something? i honestly couldnt tell the main characters apart, so when the dude came in and snagged the girl, it didnt register to me that is was a guy from before. to me it just seemed like he tackled her, not necesarly rape. anyway, it was definitly strange...strange song...strange video....that blonde (chick?) was so strange, kinda reminded me of Angelyne the billboard chick in LA, maybe not though, i have never seen her face close up, but thats what i imagine her to look like.

films like this make me sad that pro equipment is now available to the masses. Not sure what this forum is for: comments on technique, etc., or comments on material? Since you asked what I think: I think it's disgusting and didn't finish watching, but that's just me, I guess. Long live free speech for both of us.

From what I saw, I think I'd agree with the earlier posts in that what you are trying to do with it is not clear. Is it retro or new? I think it felt stuck in between. Also, if it's supposed to be a music vid, it's not. It came across as shock factor, in-your-face gay material with some music behind it, but definitely did not feel like a music vid at all. The acting kinda matches a cheesy, trying to be funny music vid, but the editing and actual material doesn't feel like that at all. The 'look' was confused, though you had cool lighting.

I guess in the end, I just am left wondering what exactly I watched....before I cut it off.
