This is a video we went out and shot for a really fantastic group in Brooklyn (made of members of Mercury Rev and Interpol, so it was an honor to work with them).  We wanted to do something a little weird, but also very simple and comfortable, and we came up with a treatment based off of Lawrence Krauser's excellent novel, "Lemon."

It's a quiet little piece, not too music video-y, but the story has a quirk to it, and the DP we had come in was just fantastic, so I think it looks pretty at times too.

Beautifully shot, tightly edited, nice music, wonderfully odd depiction of emotional transferrance.

Not the run-of-the-mill music video, I loved it.

Hey, thanks much. I was a little worried that we would either a) leave our audience confused the whole time, or b) in the transition from book to video, lose all that weird emotion that somehow makes sense in the novel. Thus far, it seems like we've been able to avoid both. Whew.

That was funny. And yes, not your typical music video, which probably kept my interest. I just knew though that the damn lemon was going to get it. ;)

lol very funny! especially when he was washing the lemon as if taking a bath. ;D
I like the message behind it though.

Aahh....I haven't seen a quality fruit fetish film in years, I just wanted to thank you. ;) Just kidding. That was very clever and nicely done.
