Music video done with 5d

Looks great! Love the location, and your choice of action. Cool mood with the music. How did you find working with the 5d, getting your exposure etc?
 
hey, thanks for your feedback! i used the 5d handled without any rig but it works quite well like that (at least for me), one cool stuff to use is the lcd brightness, i know it might sound stupid, but it really helps when shooting in places with changing lighting. the color quality was really the stuff that pleases me the most & they also managed to get a low black level that fits that "film" look most of us are looking for.
on the other hand, the REALLY annoying part is the rolling shutter issue, that makes the image like jello when you (or something in the image) are moving and even when you try to avoid fast moves, you can always feel a light 'jello' effect in really light moves when monitoring on a good screen. the 2 others issues for me are the 30p only frame rate & the h264 compression you can see when viewing on a "big" screen.
i'd say the 5d is a fun tool to use & a cool option for really low budget productions while waiting for the scarlet, ikonoshop cam & others which will be really pro gear at a fair price!
 
Cinemaphotography (or what its called in english) and color correction was good. I liked what I saw.
