Bag of Douche
First time using DVX, a few problems popped up - here are some grabs along with an explanation.

You can see blown out highlights, I had lights there incase I wanted the backround to be able to be seen, however, I love blown out highlights under the right circumstances. I know lots of people think they're bad, but maybe its just me coming from a camera that auto exposes, I like being able to over expose, finally got to do it in this video and it felt good

Crushed lower blacks, blew out the windows even more, etc.

Pretty self explanatory

wanted the light to be more pronounced, dreamier... and there ya go, darker interior

This is the color corrected version, its a timelapse piece, I wanted the sky a bit more blown out and more glowy/orangish yellow.

Loved this location, so damn cold though...

Love the first and second man... Very cool.

I'm a big fan of blown out and crushed blacks... These look good.

Widescreen these bitches!

very heavy-handed with the cc, but i suppose i don't really know what you're going for...

eh, not bad! I don't mind that overexposed look. The soft dreaming like IMO is done way too many times! It's nice but I've seen way too many of it and sometimes it gets annoying. I however dig the colors. It seemed like a dark piece so I guess the colors fits perfectly. The second to the last grab looks nice. The clouds came out pretty clean. Keep experimenting with it!

Blue, i agree that the dreamy look is often done a bit too often, however it fits pretty well with how this piece is - basically the essence of being where time really doesn't have any real bearing.

What that means is - lots of rotoscoping, lots of dark coloration, dreamy for some parts, just plain dark for others.

Again still experimenting, so we'll see what happens, just wanted to get some feedback on what was working/wasn't working.
