Music Software

[Foster Kane]

When Lazy Sunday broke out, I heard they recorded it on a Mac. But I am wondering how they composed it?

The same goes for NSFW F**k me Ray Bradbury. I am wondering if she had a live band or she composed and recorded the music herself?

Any recommendations for a music software that allows you to create your own soundtrack?

Any number of things. For a very basic tool, GarageBand can be used for sequencing and MIDI composition. So can Cubase, and so can ProTools LE 8 with the included "Structure Free." Those don't come free with your Mac, though.

And exactly how they composed and recorded it depends on how much they sampled/sequenced, how much was MIDI, and how much was actual recording.
