Music for Behind The Scenes...

Hello there!

I´m cutting a short behind the scenes, and I am looking for some background music, the BTS will be about 3-5 minutes in lenght.

In other BTS ive done before, i have used alot of Moby and Royksopp (norwegian band). But I feel like trying something else this time, so I was wondering if anyone know of any nice music with som good rythm for cutting, maybe a band or just a single song?

Would be very happy if anyone got some suggestions..

Best regards

Have you gotten the copyright clearances for Moby's music? Don't know about Royksopp... if you know the band and have permissions, that's fine. But most pop music, pre-recorded/published music requires copyright clearances for use in video/TV/film. And these sync licenses aren't cheap.

Your best bet is a royalty-free (aka buyout) music library like DeWolf or Killer Tracks. Once you purchase the music, you have the rights to use it in any production.

The copyright clearances is not a problem, the producers will sort this out, and even though this cut is just a first version, and will most likely change, both in music and in the cut.

So I would like any options, both known and unknown bands/songs.

Thanks for the answer C2V, I should have made myself more clear on what music and copyrights in the post.

There are tens of thousands of indie bands and artists who would love to place their music for the credit and exposure. You can go to MySpace and similar sites and search under "Influences" "Genre" "Sounds like" etc.

I've had a lot of success in just this way finding great tracks for projects on which I have worked as music supervisor.
