Multipurpose record settings -newbie Q

I have the HMC 151E - so I have a choice of both 50 and 60 FPS worlds.

My footage has multiple output formats, from low resolution, low fps bandwidth sensitive web-streamed tutorials to the same content, burned onto DVD or BluRay.

I'm assuming to abandon my local PAL world of 50Hz and adopt 720 / 60p settings - since it pulls down to 24P for BluRay better, I can still make 29.975fps DVD's and if I choose to do 15fps web stuff, it is a simple integer division. (I'm avoiding interlaced settings on Barry's advice in the book- since it colour is not critical and the increase in resolution is only 10%)

Does that make sense? Am I missing anything? (my wife is not allowed to answer)
