Multiple screens make one large screen - how to export?

I shot a video for a large screen, made up of 27 smaller screens, 3 screens wide, 9 screens high. The total big screen resolution is 1980 × 1188px ( 5:3 aspect ratio).

Editing and exporting in DaVinci Resolve, is this basic enough to achieve? Any workflow suggestions?

Thanks!

You wa\nt one video?

timeline resolution = same as prject -. untick

edit timeline siaze

I'm not quite sure I understand the question.

Are you asking if you can export the total 1980x1188 video in 27 sections? - I would imagine this should be a problem for whomever is going to be playing the video on 27 screens, frankly.

Or are you asking if it's possible to export the video at 1980x1188 size? - Easily done by inputting the custom size in DaVinci, as Morgan outlined.

False alarm! It's a single video, automatically played across all screens. I was preparing for 27 individual exports but don't need to worry anymore.

I'm sure screen set ups like this are mostly automated in their playback these days, but imagine @cyvideo and others would have stories of exporting many sections of a larger screen. In the past I've heard of stadium screens (the thin strips in between upper and lower levels) having very unorthodox aspect ratios, along with syncing considerations. I instantly went there but should've found out more information before throwing to the forum.

I thought there must be a mistake here?.

In the past I've just produced HD or UHD single videos for split multiscreen displays. It's the hardware processor that is being used for the projection job that has to be programmed for how many screens the video is going to be split over.

Usually with a unit like this below. They can be programmed for anything from one video across all screens or just a number of screens right through to a separate video on each screen, or any display screen combination you wish. Prices are coming down on these quite dramatically as many multi-monitor wall displays are being replaced by a single very large screen or LED wall. In that case, if you want multiple images on one screen you edit up a multiple pic-in-pic video.
