Multiple frame settings and VFR simultaneously

In Film Cam Mode...is it possible to simultaneously have a VFR , a Shutter speed and a shutter angle of your choice set.

eg. 50 fps - 1/250 sec - 90 degree shutter ( via Synchro Scan).

Sure. The VFR is stored in the scene file, the shutter speed is the shutter speed available to all scene files, and the syncro scan would be set per scene file. You'd have to adjust the shutter speed between 1/250 and the syncro scan speed, but otherwise yes.

What is Synchro Scan?

Synchro Scan in Video Cam Mode is for matching scan rate to devices such as Monitors.

In Film Cam Mode it controls Shutter angle.

Thanx Barry. for confirmation. We were having a "bar discussion" and needed clarification.

More or less light reaching the sensor, and more or less motion blur.

...and we frequently use shutter angle adjustment s on Film Cameras where of course ..you can only adjust frame rate and shutter angle and NOT shutter speed.

It is unique to cameras such as the AF100 that you can adjust all three. ( ie frame rate - shutter speed - shutter angle)
