Does this have to be removed to fold up the cart? I have an R12 and might be interested, but want to know if it will interfere with my workflow too much. Thanks!

I haven't tried to fold it up with it attached but I am almost positive it will block the cart from folding. It is nothing like the top shelf kit which takes a while to attach. You simply lay the board down and then turn the 4 plates on the bottom so they cover the metal rods of the cart. Takes about 10 seconds and is done with only your hands.
