MULTICAM synchronization problem

This is my first topic on that forum!! I like it!


I learnt how to use MULTI CAMERA mode in AVid xpress pro. But I have problem now with video and avdio synchronization for example from two camcorders.

Problem is, because I cant give SEQUENCES in group. I can give in group just MASTER CLIPS. I can synchronize first camcorder and second camcoreder in sequences. But then I can´t convert SEQUENCEs in MASTER CLIP.

I know just a longer way for do that conversation (If you export sequence on desktop and then import movie back in AVID it has been changed in MASTER CLIP form).

But I need to do that easier and shortly!

Please can anybody help me How to do that!!!

I'm not at my Avid at the moment, so if this doesn't help you I'll post a more detailed answer later.

Open your master clips and mark an in-point at the beginning of each clip at the same moment in time. Meaning that your in-points are synchronized. Then when you group those two master clips one of the options when grouping is "sync by in-point." Then your group clip will be synced together and you can edit with the multicam controls.
